The Legacy of Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore
Winner of the 2021 BEA "Best in Show" award, this multimedia student journalism project spotlights the forgotten story of Harry and Harriette Moore, a local of Black educators and activists from Mims, Fla., who were murdered in their home on Christmas night 1951, becoming the first martyrs of the civil rights movement. This time, I did not report but was honored to serve the role of the digital content manager, building and maintaining the website to publish this meaningful work on Feb. 22, 2021.

Ni De Aquí, Ni De Allá by Knightly Latino Spanish Full Show
In spring 2020, I participated in UCF NSM's Knightly Latino podcast show as the editor-in-chief of Spanish news content. I also gathered, recorded, edited, mixed, and scripted my own stories in English and Spanish. The half hour show published on Apr. 4. My story starts at 32:56 and has a running time of 2:02.

Argentine Immigrant Lives the American Dream on His Own terms
I was honored as a selected participant of NPR's Next Generation program and this was the beautiful final project. The story has only one first-hand source, as it was done in the feature style of NPR. This piece showcases my abilities in web page design, audio, video, photography and writing. In total, it should serve as 11 clips, not counting the writing. It was published on May 3, 2019, for NPR and aired on May 13, same year, on WMFE 90.7 Orlando.

Central Florida community provides mental health aid to Puerto Rico's survivors
This story was published on Feb. 26 for NSM Today at UCF and explores the collective mental health of the people of Puerto Rico after so many catastrophic and stressful strikes. With an audio piece, the 875-word story provides one additional clip. It quotes three original sources.

UCF students climb their way to success, boulder competition
This story covers the impact that bouldering has on the UCF student community. The story quotes four first-hand sources and has 543 words. With two original photos and mobile video, the story offers three additional clips. It was published on Nov. 12, 2019, for NSM Today at UCF.
